Hong Kong Science Park (HKSP) is a science and technology park located in Pak Shek Kok, Tai Po District, New Territories, Hong Kong, China. Situated along the coast of Tolo Harbour, its southeastern part falls under the administrative jurisdiction of Sha Tin District, close to The Chinese University of Hong Kong. Officially opened in 2002 and operated by the Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation, the park adopts a low‑density university‑campus‑style planning and serves as a strategic hub connecting mainland China and urban Hong Kong. Developed in three phases, Phase II was completed in 2006 while Phase III was finished in two batches in 2014 and 2016. With a total gross floor area of 400,000 square metres (as of 2021), it focuses on cutting‑edge sectors including biomedicine, electronics, microelectronics and green technology.
